1. What We Collect
- Account information: email address and password (hashed)
- Resume content: text you upload or paste for AI customization
- Job descriptions: JD text you input for each generation
- Generated documents: customized resumes and cover letters we produce
- Usage data: generation count, timestamps, plan tier
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store card details
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate customized resumes and cover letters on your behalf
- To manage your account and subscription
- To provide customer support
- To send service-related emails (no marketing without consent)
3. AI Processing (Anthropic Claude)
Your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis and generation.
- Anthropic does not use API-submitted data to train its models
- Data sent to the API is processed transiently and not retained by Anthropic beyond the request

4. Data Storage
- All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS
- Resume files and generated PDFs are stored in Supabase Storage (private buckets)
- Files are accessible only to you via time-limited signed URLs (1-hour expiry)
5. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active
- You can delete individual resumes and generated documents at any time from your dashboard
- When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your data
- Delete: remove your resumes, tailored documents, or entire account
- Portability: export your data in a machine-readable format
- Correction: update inaccurate personal data
