1. Service Description
FitResume is an AI-powered SaaS that helps job seekers customize their resumes and generate cover letters tailored to specific job descriptions. The AI analysis is performed by Anthropic's Claude API.
2. Accounts
- You must be 16 years or older to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One account per person — accounts are non-transferable
3. Subscription & Billing
- Trial: 1 free tailored document on signup — no credit card required
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe
- Unused tailored documents do not roll over to the next month
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are not provided for partial months
4. Your Content
- You retain full ownership of your resume content and generated documents
- By using the service, you grant FitResume a limited license to process your content solely for generating your documents
- You are responsible for ensuring your resume content is accurate and truthful
- Do not upload content containing sensitive personal data of third parties
5. AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated resumes and cover letters are provided as-is for your review and editing
- FitResume does not guarantee employment outcomes or ATS pass rates
- You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content before submitting to employers
- Never submit AI-generated content that contains fabricated experience or credentials
6. Data Deletion
- You can delete individual resumes and generated documents at any time from your dashboard
- Deleted files are permanently removed from our storage within 24 hours
- To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@fitresume.com
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use FitResume to:
- Create fraudulent or misleading resumes
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the service
- Attempt to exceed plan limits through automated means
- Share your account credentials with others
8. Limitation of Liability
FitResume is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any employment decisions made by employers, or for the outcomes of job applications made using documents generated by our service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
